Ladder Rung Capping
Ladders represent the highest
risk of serious slip and fall accidents. Rungs are generally
small in diameter and uncomfortable underfoot. Add to this the
possibility of wet, worn or greasy conditions and an extremely
hazardous situation can exist.
To
help eliminate this danger Ceramabond manufactures two styles of
anti-slip capping, semi circular capping to suit 20mm and 25mm diameter
rungs and U channel capping to cover larger diameters and rectangular rungs.
U channel
capping is fabricated to any size requirement. Semi circular capping
is supplied in the following standard sizes: and also custom made as
required.

Fixing Instructions
-
Clean off
rust and loose particles.
-
Wipe down
with solvent.
-
Apply
generous spread of Ceramabond recommended adhesive to underside of
capping.
-
Press
firmly into place.
-
Wipe away
excess adhesive and leave to set for 24 hours.
